This is a common experience. Sometimes it is just resistance to change…but what if there is something more going on? In my work as a Spiritual Success Coach and Miracle Mentor, I help people through their resistance every day.

There are three types of resistance: the simple resistance of breaking a habit, the resistance from your subconscious mind known as self-sabotage…and then there is the resistance that comes from your Higher Self!!! No one talks about this third kind, but in my experience, it is the most common one for highly sensitive people on the spiritual path.

In this episode, I share the ‘aha’ moment I had when dealing with my own resistance and how it helped me support others in moving through their resistance. I will also share a simple technique you can do to begin working through your own resistance.

Key learnings:

1. Most self-help gurus will encourage you to ‘push through’ your resistance. This advice is not only not helpful for highly sensitive people, it can be downright dangerous!
2. Many of the famous millionaires in history made a great fortune by pushing through resistance, only to lose all of it. I believe they did not listen to the inner resistance, they did not address any fears or underlying issues, which is why they lost it. Once they address those concerns, they make it back and can keep it.
3. If you have said your prayers and asked for guidance, resistance can be an answer to your prayer. Don’t be so quick to dismiss it or override it. Get to know your resistance, make friends with it. Once you understand it, you will move forward quickly.

You have heard me say many times that I often receive messages and guidance through books. I open them up to a random page and read whatever is on the page…and it is remarkable how often I read exactly what I need to hear in that moment.

• When I needed some guidance and inspiration, I opened this book to page 126. The declaration was I welcome joy as my spiritual companion. That was exactly what I needed that day. 

• You can use this book as an oracle of sorts…just open it up to any random page and read the verse. Notice if it speaks to you. The declaration on courage is on page 74.

2. The second book is How Quantum Physicists Build New Beliefs by Greg Kuhn. This book will help you to gradually move yourself up the Emotional Reference Chart so that you can get used to feeling better. If you try to go from fear to joy overnight, you likely will boomerang back to fear. This process will help you to live in a higher frequency and stay there.
3. The third book is Overcoming Underearning by Barbara Stanny. This is the book that helped me to cross the six-figure mark as a lightworker. While the other two books are very much focused on your energy, this book also addresses your behavior. Are you undercharging? Paying for others who can pay for themselves? Being codependent with your money? If you are sabotaging yourself in any way, this book will help you address and heal that.

Do you ever worry about money? If so, you are not alone. Worrying about money seems to be something that just about everyone experiences. But what if you had another option? Is it possible to NOT worry about money? Absolutely!!!

In this episode, I will share what helped me to stop worrying about money and how to manifest it instead. I will also take you through a simple exercise to identify your ‘money story’ and how to change it to create money miracles.

2. When we worry about money, we are usually telling ourselves a story, like there won’t be enough or what if I lose what I have. This is just a story and you can begin today to tell yourself a better story.
3. Try on these money stories and see how they feel: “money always works out for me; I always have more than enough; the money I need for this bill is already here, thank you thank you thank you.”

2. If you tend to have a restless mind, choosing a phrase or verse to read and memorize can be the perfect solution for you. It can be easier to give your mind a spiritual activity than it is to get it to relax completely. 

3. You can use this book as an oracle of sorts…just open it up to any random page and read the verse. Notice if it speaks to you. The passage I read can be found on page  101: May the Lord of Love protect us. May the Lord of Love nourish us. May the Lord of Love strengthen us. May we realize the Lord of Love. May we live with love for all; May we live in peace with all.

Have you ever had a desire that was beyond anything you’ve experienced before? And maybe it was beyond anything your family or friends have experienced too…believe it or not, that can be scary for most of us.

If you’re like me, you were raised in a family that worked hard just to create a sense of safety and stability, aka a ‘good life.’ When I was 12 and told my mom I wanted to be a professional musician, her fear for my security got triggered and her advice was to ‘have a backup plan.’ This kind of advice is often what happens when the people who love us are not able to share our big vision…they advise us to ‘stay safe.’ Unfortunately, that advise often becomes our own inner voice, cautioning us NOT to do anything to ‘rock the boat’ when our soul is calling us to expand.

In this episode, I will share why miracles rarely happen when we cling to things remaining ‘good’ and how you can begin to open up to a ‘miraculous life.’ I put on my coach’s hat and take you through some questions to help you get clear on what a miraculous life is for you and how you can begin to create it.

1. Did you come from a family that worked hard to create a “good life” for themselves? If so, it can be very difficult for them to support you in taking steps to go beyond a ‘good life’ to a miraculous one.
2. Get clear about what a miraculous life is for you. What would life be like for you if it were miraculous? What would you need to let go of? Write it down and then make decisions with this end in mind.
3. Fear is a natural response to letting go of ‘good’ to welcome in the miraculous. Tune into your own heart and ask yourself what your own wisdom is guiding you to do.

“The biggest obstacle to going from a ‘good’ life to a miraculous life is the voice in your head telling you to ‘stay safe and don’t rock the boat.’ If you want a miraculous life, seek out the support to overcome that voice.”
