Listen Later

A lot of wickedly smart women have multiple talents. And if we're not careful, we can get to a point where we have too many irons in the fire. So, how do we discern the sacred ONE thing we want to focus on?

Kate Johnson is the founder and lead cheesemaking coach at The Art of Cheese, a cheesemaking school that specializes in hands-on classes for home cheesemakers. She worked for many years as a Career Development Professional and Board-Certified Life Coach, helping others choose meaningful work based on their passions. Then, in 2014, Kate took her own advice and turned two of her favorite hobbies—dairy goats and cheesemaking—into a thriving career. Kate also serves as a writer and keynote speaker, engaging audiences around her expertise in finding your calling and turning the things you do for fun into a successful business.

On this episode of Wickedly Smart Women, Kate joins Anjel to explain how she came to create a cheesemaking school, offering insight on the nutritional value of cheese and the benefits of being able to make your own. She describes the challenge of being both a dreamer and a doer, walking us through the decision-making process she used to let her life coaching business go to focus on The Art of Cheese.
