We are often told it takes a village to raise kids…but that village is often about help for the kids…but what about help for mama? In this episode I am going to share about the importance of building your mama village and the 5 types of people I believe every mama should have in her village.
As moms we have limited time and energy, especially for human relationships, so we have to be intentional about the people we have in our life and invest ourselves into. It’s not to say relationships should be transactional, but more so we need to protect our energetic bubbles and choose wisely who we have in our corner. We all have buckets that need to be filled up in order to pour into the ones we love and these 5 types of people can help us fill those buckets so we can show up for others.
“That's when you need a person in your life who can believe for you and your dreams, even when you can't.” - Kassy
This episode is a call to action for my mama community! How often do we get asked the question, "how are you" or "how is/was your day", and what do we say 99.9% of the time?!
We say we’re good…when I KNOW we’re not good 99.9% of the time. I want us to normalize being honest when we’re not okay. When life is kicking our butt. When we are struggling.
It doesn’t mean we have to dump our personal lives on everyone, but we need to find safe places to be able to admit when we’re not okay. We don’t have to be superhuman all the time, at the end of the day we are also just human and that is okay!
Let’s make it easier for the next generation of moms to not always feel the pressure to put on a happy face and instead share the real, non-highlight-reel version of their life.

In this episode, I explain my take on the differences between therapy and coaching and when might be most appropriate to use one over the other, or both together! I also discuss the benefits of coaching (when done right) and some red flags to look out for when choosing a coach. I dive a bit into my philosophy on what makes coaching effective and my approach to coaching.
Ultimately this episode will help you better understand the transformative power of coaching and be able to decide if it is a tool that you want to use to support your accountability, confidence, clarity, direction, and motivation.
“Not all therapists are created equal, and not all coaches are created equal.” - Kassy
This episode is straight from my heart about embracing our evolutions and not getting stuck by fear or feeling like we have to 'stay the course' on a path we have been pursuing. Life is meant to be lived as a series of chapters and with each new one brings new desires, goals, dreams, values, etc and that is a good thing.
As moms, we go through a massive evolution and we need to give ourselves permission to pivot where we feel called to as long as we are doing it based on what is most aligned for us. I made some massive pivots in my career and business lately and this episode shares a bit of that journey and why it is so important for us to allow ourselves to evolve and pivot when life is calling us in a new direction.
The unknown can be scary and uncomfortable, but if we are never scared or uncomfortable then we are never growing and evolving and that is what we are meant to do.
Connect with Kassy:“Time is our most precious resource. You have no idea how much of it you're given or know when that's going to be taken away from you. Don't get so hung up on this fear of forever. Make decisions that feel right for right now, and they will all build on each other to build the forever that you are supposed to ultimately have.” - Kassy
This is a special birthday episode...but not my birthday, my daughter's! She turns two this week and I thought this was a perfect time to reflect back over the last 2 years as a first-time mom navigating business, career, relationships, mental health, motherhood and so much more.
I wanted to share the important lessons I learned in case it can help another mom early on in her journey not beat herself up as much I did or a fellow toddler mom not feel so alone. This episode will share the raw, real, and honest takeaways from my journey into motherhood - both the good and the bad. It will cover topics such as:
AND so much more!
Connect with Kassy:“Most of us have absolutely no clue what we're doing. We are 100% making it up as we go. So... if that's you, welcome to all of us.” - Kassy
In today's episode, I provide tangible tools and actions for busy moms to pursue their dreams without overexerting themselves. I share practical strategies to interrupt negative self-talk, emphasize gratitude, and encourage you to make decisions aligned with YOUR true vision.
Here are my 5 tools to help stay successful with everything we have been learning during the mini-series (as this is the last episode of the mini-series).
Episode topics:
1. Mantra about being your own best friend to help maintain a confident mindset
2. Affirmation to help when we don't think things are working out or happening the way we want and we start to have imposter syndrome and self-doubt
3. Mantra to help take back control from anxiety, fear, doubt, and outside opinions/criticism of our dreams and goals
4. Mindset Practice to help ground and recenter us when times are tough or stressful or we need help making clear decisions
5. Lifestyle/Mindset Practice to help align with your vision and show up with more confidence, joy, and intention.
“Why the heck do we talk to ourselves like we are the meanest bully from middle school? Pause and really think about how we talk to ourselves sometimes in our own mind. It is not nice and we do not deserve it, and I promise you it is certainly not helping us.” - Kassy
This episode is about the power of compounding action in order to take more effective results-driven actions in your career & business/life goals so that you move those dreams forward faster with less input of stress, energy and time.
If we learn to leverage the universe and our internal GPS system to take vision-driven aligned actions for our goals then we can actually move those goals and dreams forward faster and more effectively. We want to take actions that get us the most bang for our buck as moms instead of trying to just do more to do more or hustle harder.
Episode highlights:
“What if we could leverage very intentional results-driven actions, so that one action compounded with the next aligned action and so forth, and that could actually allow us to build more success and results faster with actually putting in less effort.” - Kassy
This episode talks about the importance of building a confident mindset as the foundation for building your dreams. We often see mindset work as a nice-to-have to not a big priority, but it is actually the foundation for our dreams and goals to stand on. Our mindset is what will help us weather doubts, fears, insecurities, and anxiety about what if's.
This episode shares 3 best practices for building a confident mindset:
1. Controlling the narrative or stories you attach to things that happen in your life.
2. Protect what you let into your energetic bubble. You don't have to 'receive' things that people say or put out there that don't serve you.
3. Practicing gratitude on a consistent basis.
Tune in, you don't want to miss it!

This is episode number 2 in our mini-series on working smarter, not harder! Please check out episode 5 to hear the beginning of the series!
Most of us have heard of or created a vision board before. We usually start out really excited about it, but over time it no longer helps keep us motivated or focused. Instead, we can create a vision blueprint that is a lot more specific, targeted, and much more effective at giving us clarity, motivation, and focus.
In this episode, I show you exactly how!
Episode topics:
“As moms, we have so much pulling us in so many different directions. It can be hard to even hear our brains think, so being able to have a vision blueprint to fall back on and use when we need clarity and direction can be really amazing.” - Kassy
Today's episode is about the importance and impact of learning to listen to your intuition and leverage your internal GPS system to help make decisions that are aligned for you specifically and therefore are more successful.
So often we get caught up in what we think we "should" do or what others are doing and instead, if we can learn to go inward and tap into our internal guidance, we can move towards our goals and ambitions faster and easier.
This episode will explain and help you learn to identify your intuition and feel empowered and excited to listen to it.
Topics Covered:
“Get to know yourself, your dreams, and what's aligned for you so that you can pursue life in a way that is truly meant for yourself, and when that starts to happen...so many things click into place that you never realize was even out of place.” - Kassy
