Whether it was that very first run, a breakthrough race, or a moment you realized you were stronger than you thought, we wax nostaligic on those core memories and chat about their impact. First, hosts Dimity and Sarah WF share their own runiversaries, and then we hear from several two guests with poignant runiversaries, including: 

  • Sheena Morrissey, a Canadian mother runner living in Scotland who annually honors the day she was able to run after suffering from a series of major strokes that left her unable to walk at first. 
  • Carolyn Leebs, a mother runner pioneer from Chicago with two special runiversaries: The day she went for her first run in 1982, and the day she went on a run with her now-husband; the pair are still logging miles three decades later.
