Do you feel like time is either completely absent or a sudden, panicked emergency? If you struggle with the frozen state of "waiting mode" paralysis before a task or appointment, this session is designed for you.
In this session, we work directly with the subconscious mechanisms behind temporal discounting. By moving away from standard willpower and instead using a steady, mechanical clock metaphor, you will gently rebuild a felt sense of time passing safely and evenly. This recording includes a portable somatic anchor (using a specific breathing pattern and physical touch) that you can use anywhere to reset your internal rhythm in real time.
Important Notes:
How to use: Listen while sitting or lying down in a comfortable place where you do not need to hold yourself up. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
Connect with me: If you recognize these automatic patterns in yourself, willpower alone isn't the answer. You can find more details on how I approach these subconscious response patterns at my website: markstubbles.com.

Can't sleep tonight? Don't try.
Welcome to a deep sleep hypnosis session designed specifically for overactive minds, restlessness, and insomnia. If you are lying awake measuring yourself against how tonight "should" go, this track is your invitation to put that pressure down.
There is nothing you need to fix, manage, or change right now. Your body already knows exactly how to rest, even on the nights it doesn't feel that way. Simply listen, let go of the need to force sleep, and allow the rhythmic, soothing cadence of the tide to carry you into a safe, settled, and deep state of relaxation.
If you experience tinnitus or a busy internal head noise when the room gets quiet, this session gently weaves that experience into the background soundscape, transforming a common distraction into a tool for deeper trance.
Close your eyes, notice your breath, and let the tide take you down into the rest you deserve.
About the Creator:
Written and recorded by Mark Stubbles, a hypnotherapist specializing in trauma-informed care, anxiety relief, and nervous system regulation. Rebuild your relationship with rest, calm an overactive mind, and step into deep, restorative sleep at your own pace.
Settle in and allow your mind and body to find a deeper sense of ease. If you struggle with chronic blushing, chronic flushing, or erythrophobia, this guided hypnosis session is designed to help you gently retrain your autonomic nervous system response.
When blushing feels intense or uninvited, your nervous system is simply trying to protect you by redirecting energy upward. Through the gentle metaphor of a river clearing its path, this session guides you to release old conditioning and allow that warmth to flow naturally downward, back into your core and the ground beneath you. Experience the ordinary ease of being fully visible, open, and at peace in any room.
For the best results, listen to this recording regularly in a quiet place where you can safely close your eyes and relax. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery.

Do you ever experience a sudden, overwhelming wave of shame, terror, smallness, or rage that arrives out of nowhere, with no matching present-day cause?
This is an emotional flashback. It isn't an overreaction; it is your nervous system doing exactly what it was trained to do a long time ago to keep a younger version of you safe. The problem is simply that it hasn’t learned the difference between then and now.
In this therapeutic hypnosis session, we work directly with the inner child to build a clear, solid line between the past and the present. You will learn a physical anchoring tool to instantly widen the gap between an automatic reaction and your conscious awareness, allowing your steady, adult presence to step in and offer true reassurance.
You don't need to relive anything difficult. You only need to be willing to notice.
How to listen:
Use headphones for the best experience.
Ensure you are in a safe, comfortable position where your body can be fully supported (lying down or seated).
Do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
Listen consistently to reinforce and strengthen the self-regulation anchor.

Ever wondered why some people fly into a rage when they're stressed, while others completely shut down, try to run away, or resort to people-pleasing?
Most people chalk this up to personality flaws, telling themselves, "That's just the way I am." But modern neuroscience proves it isn’t personality at all. It is your autonomic nervous system acting entirely below conscious level to keep you safe.
While physiology used to focus solely on the "fight or flight" response, we now know there are four distinct survival strategies. These responses were often learned very early in childhood as a crucial way to maintain connection and safety. Until you become aware of your automatic response, you cannot change it.
🧠 Take the 3-Minute Stress Response Quiz:Find out your primary survival strategy right now by taking the survey on my website: https://markstubbles.com/quiz
The Fight Response: How survival energy can manifest in the modern world as irritability, verbal aggression, or a rigid need for control.
The Flight Response: Why chronic avoidance, workaholism, and distractions are actually attempts to run away from a stressor.
The Freeze Response: Governed by the dorsal branch of the vagus nerve, this response mimics "playing dead" through mental daydreaming and dissociation when a threat feels completely overwhelming.
The Fawn Response: Originally identified in relational psychology, this adaptation involves putting others' needs before your own, codependency, and overachieving to maintain safety.
As a hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner, I specialize in subconscious behavior retraining, inner child integration, and nervous system regulation. I help clients worldwide break free from automatic survival patterns so they can build genuine safety, security, and emotional control.

Deep Sleep Hypnosis for 3 AM Insomnia and Early Morning Anxiety
Do you consistently wake up in the early hours of the morning, caught in a spiral of racing thoughts and anxiety? In sleep medicine, this is a very common challenge known as sleep maintenance insomnia.
When you wake up during this lighter sleep phase, your brain naturally scans for problems and amplifies minor worries. This recording is designed specifically to help you step out of that fast current of overthinking and gently guide your mind back into a state of deep, restorative rest.
How to use this session:
Safety notice: Only listen to this recording when you can safely relax. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
Preparation: Find a comfortable position, either lying down or sitting with your back fully supported, and let your eyes gently close.
Approach: There is nothing you need to fix or solve right now. This time is entirely yours. Just allow yourself to listen, breathe, and arrive here.
Through gentle physical relaxation techniques, a calming countdown, and soothing metaphors, we will address early morning wakefulness from a place of complete safety. You will learn to view your thoughts as temporary static rather than urgent problems that require a solution in the middle of the night.
You are permitted to rest, and you do not need to decode the static tonight.
If you find this session helpful, please follow the podcast and share it with anyone who struggles with dawn wakefulness.
Do you find yourself caught in an agonizing relationship loop? You crave intimacy and attention, but the moment someone gets close, anxiety kicks in and you push them away. Or maybe you are on the opposite end of the spectrum, constantly seeking external validation, slipping into codependency, and losing yourself to meet other people's needs.
Both of these painful patterns stem from the exact same root: childhood.
When we don't grow up with "good enough parents" who provide unconditional love, we learn to survive on conditional terms. We internalize the chaos, creating a subconscious baseline that treats dysfunction as familiar and safe. As adults, our reticular activating system (RAS) begins filtering our world based on this old programming. It labels emotionally stable, functional partners as "boring" and magnetically draws us toward people who mirror our childhood family systems.
All relationship abuse and dysfunction is ultimately a transfer of toxic shame. When you internalize the belief that you are fundamentally faulty, it breeds a constant fear of abandonment and severe emotional disregulation.
The way out is learning how to become the good enough parent to yourself.
If you are ready to break these unconscious contracts and finally feel safe in your adult relationships, join me for a deep-dive, 3-hour pop-up workshop this Saturday.
We will be using powerful techniques popularized by pioneer John Bradshaw, including:
Writing letters to your inner child.

Welcome. If you have been carrying a steady, quiet, and exhausting watch around money, financial safety, or the fear that something will go wrong, this session is for you.
Financial anxiety often triggers a survival response in our nervous system, causing us to tense up and catastrophize. This recording is designed to help you step away from the spiral, find a psychological clearing, and build a new relationship with difficulty—one rooted in steady, grounded capability rather than fear.

In this session, you will experience:
A gentle countdown to ease your conscious mind into a comfortable, dreamy state.
The metaphor of the watch creature and the riverbank to help release long-held tension.
Suggestions to help you observe stressful financial thoughts like leaves passing on water, rather than being swept away by them.
A post-hypnotic anchor to help you respond with clarity and resourcefulness when future financial worries arise.
