ME READING STUFF episodes

March 24, 2016 Ramblin' Robby on the Road Reading about Samuel Beckett & Richard Strauss from "Daily Rituals"
People make eggs. They swim. They drive. They suffer. They write. They draw. They compose. They admire sunsets. They clean themselves. They clean children. They love you. They resent. They love again.

March 21, 2016 Kathryn Maris - The House with Only an Attic and a Basement
I drank his cinnamon tea. I was kidnapped in Dublin by a taxi driver and forced to drink ginger ale. These are the stories.

But we shall find peace.

With love, Robyn

March 14, 2016 Anne Carson - The Life of Towns
Reading from misdirected texts, this is no time for minimalism. I take you to Wolf Town & The Town of Uneven Love (But All Love is Uneven) (Remember, Carson McCullers already told us about that.) This is definitely the first time I've mentioned porcupines twice in one episode. I doubt that will ever happen again.

March 10, 2016 Katherine Anne Porter, an interview from Writers at Work, The Paris Review 1963

Some definitions for today:

Hikes: Seems like you're going' up hills a lot and you're in dirt.

Walking: strolling down the street in your city, havin' a good time.
