Everyday, you have a choice.
To be willing,
Or to be unwilling.
To close your heart,
Or to keep it open.
To be unsettled,
Or to be at peace.
PAUSE…
Today, we are cultivating a willingness to be more peaceful,
To suspend tension, resistance, and contraction in your body.
PAUSE…
So begin by relaxing your body,
Softening your face,
Your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your arms,
Your chest,
Your legs
And take a few deep, slow breaths in through your nose,
Exhaling through your nose.
LONG PAUSE…
How willing are you to be at peace right now?
There is power in truth.
PAUSE…
Acknowledge any unwillingness,
Reassuring it, that you’re not going to push it away,
That’s it’s not bad…
Simply that you’re not going to choose it today.
You choose willingness.
PAUSE…
What does it feel like in your body when you are completely willing to be at peace?
In your mind?
Your spirit?
LONG PAUSE…
For the next few minutes, allow yourself to fully let go of the things you’re holding onto that stand in the way of your peace.
And open your whole self to peace,
Willing to let it in and live within you.
