On September 28, 2022, Wakeley released An Adoption Story, his new orchestral album that explores his time in the foster care system and as an adoptive parent of three siblings. 

Kitt and Melissa talk candidly about their incredible story,  reuniting with a sister he was separated from while in foster care, finding the love of his life, adopting three babies and the road that finally led him to the Grammys!
