Being a mother has opened me up to so much learning 
It has been a full experienced that has exposed a lot about how I think, how I view relationships and how I interact with others. 
In this episode I share  a short snippet pf my reality as a mom and what that has done with me. When I was done recording I was like DAMN, there is still so much I need to share... Which I will in the near future.

We all have a voice, a character, an energy that constantly puts us down and tells us that we are not good enough. It is disapproving and always find opportunities to shame us. It tells us that we are imposters and not worthy of anything good. It tells us we are going to fail, MAKING us risk averse and to lack spontaneity.

Being Jealous is a normal part of life and we are all going to struggle with it in one way or another. In this episode I share my experience with it and i share my view on the matter.

I wish i got a better experience of loving my skin and who I was. However, The truth is though, even if i had that confidence, it wasnt going to change how the world views me.
We have a lot of work to do as a society and as a black community. Colourism goes beyond appearance, it plagues our lives in ways that can be unimaginable to others.

It was so interesting to learn about how vital friendships are to our well-being and how having negative relationship and those which are poor quality can actually be detrimental to your health.
I had such an enlightening experience in doing research to prepare for this episode and I think sharing this with you will enlighten you as well.

I have truly struggled with people-pleasing for a long time and I didn't really recognise how much I was struggling until a boundary i wanted to enforce could barely hold water.  In this episode I share examples of this and what impact it has on me and how I plan to get off the people-pleasing bus.

After experiencing heartbreak after heartbreak, i had to introspect and be honest with myself. I was looking for the wrong things and expecting the right man. I was constantly finding myself in situationships where the man iI was with was selfish with his emotions and his time. I was constantly gaslighted and made to feel worthless. 

In this episode I take you on a journey of where my mind was at and how i finally found myself with my partner.
