Michael Baresich’s Biography

Michael is the Chief Information Officer for Ally Financial, a leading digital financial services company offering financial products for consumers, businesses, automotive dealers and corporate clients with annual revenues of $4.9 billion. As CIO, Michael is responsible for information technology at Ally, including strategy, architecture, application development, infrastructure, risk management, and information security.

Prior to Ally, Michael worked at CIT Group, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for six years.

Michael received a bachelor’s degree from Harpur College at Binghamton University and master’s degrees from the University of Florida and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
