Mike Heim’s Biography

Mike is the Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Whirlpool Corporation, a $20 billion home appliance manufacturer operating in over 170 countries worldwide with 97,000 employees. In his role as CIO, Mike has been responsible for modernizing the company’s infrastructure, driving the organization to take advantage of the Internet of Things and predictive analytics capabilities, all of which we covered in this interview.

Prior to Whirlpool, Mike was a Senior Vice President and the CIO of Eli Lilly, where he worked for 33 years.

Mike holds has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Marian University and a Masters of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
