Awareness is the capacity to pay attention to our own inner processes, while acceptance is the ability to tolerate thoughts without judgment. These skills help us gain a deeper perspective on our consciousness, thereby promoting greater mental and relational peace. These skills can be beneficial in a variety of settings, from mindfulness-based therapies to simply addressing stress and anxiety.
