Most can understand or relate to conflict being productive if handled appropriately but damaging if approached with a combative attitude, hidden agenda, and unyielding attitude.

"Fighting right" relies on being respectful, constructive, empathetic, or compassionate and listening to other's perspectives and working together to find a mutually beneficial solution.

"Right Fighter" is the character trait of an unrelenting insistence and need to be right. The impact it may have on others, or the situation itself is not considered. In those moments, the environment is toxic, created by hostility and bitterness, defiance and little or no progress.
