More solo homeruns and more missed opportunities as the Chicago White Sox lose to Texas, 5-2. Andrew Vaughn and Luis Robert, Jr. hit back-to-back solo homeruns but that was the extent of the excitement. White Sox offense was 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position. Due to an injured Mike Clevinger, the Sox had to use a bullpen day. Lefthander Tanner Banks started and after that, the Sox used four others arms out of the pen. The Texas Rangers got a solo homerun from Josh Jung and capitalized on opportunities with runners in scoring position. The Sox fell to twelve games under .500 and will send their ace, Dylan Cease, to the mound on Tuesday night on the South Side.
