  • 64: More Beautiful with the Breaks - Healing our Ancestral Wounds

    Send us a text

Generational trauma can be defined as trauma that isn’t just experienced by one person but extends from one generation to the next.  As we continue the process of inner work, we soon discover that many of the wounds we carry are much older than us and may have continued in our family lines for generations.

In this episode, Mike, Doug and Shelise reflect on a listener email and discuss the process of beginning to heal our ancestral lines.

    Enjoy!

  • 63: Riding Giants - Embracing our Shadow

    Send us a text

As we engage in self work, we often find that difficult, familiar emotions resurface--emotions that we may believe we have already dealt with and released. When this happens, we can easily believe that we are regressing. However, emotions come in waves, and progress isn't measured by the absence of emotions but in our capacity to experience more, to feel more, and to ride even stronger waves.

Join us this week as Mike, Doug and Shelise unpack recent experiences with our shadows. What happens when we embrace these strong emotions rather than pushing them away?

  • 62: Your Weird Is Your Magic - Ecstatic Dance w/ Tiffany Mertens

    Send us a text

Get ready for a high-energy, high vibrational love fest as we get of out our heads and drop into our bodies, talking all things embodiment and ecstatic dance with Tiffany Mertens (Mystic Mentorship).

    About Tiffany:

Tiffany is a spiritual mentor and empowerment coach who specializes in helping men and women heal themselves through movement and rituals.

Over the years she has been doing the heavy heartfelt work, healing old wounds and patterns, while curiously exploring the depths of her soul's calling.  She began working with her shadow and through the reflections of her mentors, realized how important it is to have an open platform and a judgement free space to dig deep and uncover the sometimes brutal truths. This led to creating her own mentorship program, Mystic Mentorship so she could share her experience with others who are also learning how to create more conscious connection to others, while deepening the love they have for themselves. In addition to her soul work, she is an international performance artist and facilitates classes and workshops based around ecstatic dance.

"The power of movement is exceptionally unique and once you tap into it, it will blow your mind! These classes help both men and women feel even more connected to themselves, their bodies, and their imagination to reach deep states of pleasure and flow. I’M GOING TO HELP YOU HEAL YOUR WOUNDS SO YOU CAN TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE AND FEEL FREE TO BE YOUR BADASS AND VIBRANT SELF."

  • Bonus: Infants on COVID: A 5-D Perspective (with Infants on Thrones)

    Send us a text

So excited to be back with Glenn from Infants on Thrones!  And yes, it is another episode where we play in the sandbox of symbols and stories and fictions that are probably a little different – or maybe very very different – from the normal symbols and stories and fictions of everyday discourse that we rarely stop to recognize as symbols and stories and fictions because we just think of them as “reality” – which, when you really stop to think about it, is only experienced and communicated through multiple competing systems of symbols, stories, and fictions.  Stop.  Take a breath.  This is fun, right?  Playing with symbols and stories and fictions all in the service of learning how to become a more kind, compassionate, understanding, accepting, nurturing, joyful, peace-making human being.

  • 60: You Got This!

    Send us a text

Growing up in orthodox religion, we learned to seek validation of our worthiness from external sources (God, bishop, parents, etc.). Learning to trust ourselves and reclaim our inner authority can be a long, frustrating, but also beautiful, process.

In this episode, Mike, Doug and Shelise explore that process, discussing what has been coming up for them in recent weeks. Regardless of where you're at in your journey, just know that....you got this!
