This week, Taylor and Angelika are joined by Nicky Stimpson. Nicky has a long history of athletics from her experiences as being the rowing and swimming team captains at Washington College. Nick has since been coaching the Naval Academy rowing team for about 13 years and now has taken up stand-up paddleboarding or SUP racing while participating in numerous competitions and races for a variety of causes including charities for autism. In this episode, Nicky, Taylor, and Angelika discuss many topics including how Nicky got into paddle boarding, upcoming race details, diets, the importance of having a support system, post-race recovery, and more. Nicky’s next big race will be a “Bay Paddle '' in August where she will paddle the entire length of the Chesapeake Bay, which is just about 200 miles.

This week, Co-hosts Taylor and Angelika are joined by Schizophrenia Activist, Michelle Hammer. Michelle was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 22 after a misdiagnosis of bipolar at age 18. In May 2015, Michelle founded a mental health-focused clothing brand called Schizophrenic.NYC with the mission of destigmatizing and creating a healthy dialogue around mental health. This week, Taylor and Angelika review Taylor’s recent 300 mile run to Massachusetts. Starting from his home in New Jersey, Taylor ran to Lynn, Massachusetts where his cousin, Sam, is buried after overdosing on drugs in 2019. In this episode, Taylor and Angelika discuss many details from the week-long run such as the physical and mental challenges, difficult weather, favorite highlights, and what this run meant to Taylor. They also answer questions from Instagram.
