This segment is a quick one, but MP makes full use of his time to tackle the current injury status and overall preparedness of our Commanders going up against the Philadelphia Eagles in a couple days, here.

Great googamooga! It’s Thursday morning and we are just in for some treats today. Michael Phillips kicks off today’s program with none other than the main man who runs the show at the Flying Squirrels Diamond, Todd Parnell! The fellas discuss our favorite MLB Team, the Texas Rangers as well as highlight “Squirrel-o-ween” down at the ballpark! It’s a free trick-or-treat event with all sorts of vendors going down on Friday starting at 5:30pm - check it out!

It’s time to sign off for the day, but not before we have a good bit of cross-talk with our buddy Adam Epstein aka AWadd and he is coming to us live via the phone lines from Charlotte, North Carolina! He’s down there representing Sports Radio the Fan and having a blast at the ACC Basketball Tournament!

We return with a good friend of this studio and the founder of Legacy Maker Sports Network, Darrell Owens! There’s a lot of ground to cross in regards to this past weekend’s match-ups and the main focus is naturally going to be the Commanders. MP and Darrell take on a few subjects regarding the NFL: one of them being the over-romanticization of Brett Favre.

We’re back and it’s time to talk about the NFL, because there is plenty to cover here. Vikings! Kirk Cousins! We hear from Cousins himself as he shamelessly plugs the soothing sounds of Creed as inspiration for his playing. 

 At the top of the 11 o’clock hour, MP brings on a huge name in VA College Sports as well as our Audacy colleague, Jim Hobgood of Hoos Talking on 910 The Fan! We of course need to discuss the UVA Cavaliers and their most recent victory on the grid-iron, but we also need to shed some light on the Virginia Tech Hokies! The pair also talk about UVA basketball and the season at hand.

Michael brings us up to speed with the World Series! JC and MP have picked a studio team. That team is the Texas Rangers and that coach is Bruce Bochy! We hear from Bruce and his team’s wild success as well as their position to take this Championship!

We return with our hair-raising segment, The Panic Button! Michael Phillips didn’t write this segment to scare you, but for goodness sake, heed the warnings so you don’t HAVE to panic about your favorite team!
