#FiveOuttaFive: The Fox X-Men era has come to an end with X-Men Dark Phoenix and we're soooooooo sad to see it go. We have no choice but to give this film the coveted MTR #FiveOuttaFive. How could we not? Simon Kinberg, the man who gave us the GREAT writing the first time Fox attempted the Dark Phoenix story with X-Men Last Stand is back to not only write but direct a new attempt. How could this film not be great? It's not like Fox has a history of wasting talented actors in the X-Men series. No...of course not.

Listen as Kriss, Ro and Brandon break out the highest honor Movie Trailer Reviews can give to a film: FIVE OUTTA FIVE.

Cloak & Dagger in their costumes (Freeform/Alfonso Bresciani)

It's the end of season 2 and Marvel's Cloak & Dagger pulled a Supergirl. Our two heroes managed to save each other ... with the power of love! In a season fraught with out of control powers and too real monsters, Cloak & Dagger landed the plane with a simple but poignant message; you cannot move on until you shed the pain that's holding you back.

Evita was literally killing 'em in this dress (Freeform/Alfonso Bresciani)

And shed their pain, they do. After we see how Andre's illness began and how he gained his powers on that fateful night when the Roxxon rig exploded, he uses his powers to play a "blue note"  that unlocks the door to his godhood. Once he becomes a god, he continues playing his trumpet drawing others to him (including Mina who shows up to play doctor with Mayhem and then disappears). It's up to Ty and Tandy, with Evita's help, to stop D'Spayre and save everyone. Along the way, Ty convinces some gangbangers to stop selling drugs to those taking advantage of others, like the men who use drugs to traffic girls. (Ed. note - I don't know how you police that by the way. One dude showed up with girls in his car but I doubt anyone is going to tell they're drug dealer they're using their drugs to subdue women).

The Doctor, Shanna, and Parrish breakdown all the details of these episode and sometimes just breakdown discussing this unexpectedly hopeful ending. And since we're ending with some hope, let's keep our fingers crossed for the Runaways/Cloak & Dagger crossover we deserve!

We are back talking all the biggest news of the sports week, from the Raiders bringing back Incognito to drama in Los Angeles to the unlikely rise of the Raptors in the Finals. But, when you have a guest on from the world's preeminent professional wrestling website, you talk a good deal of squared circle news too. Even if it's just Cam.

Oh Agent Keller. We've been calling you "Agent Red Shirt" and well...turns out, for good reason.

This week it's we have a special guest on to discuss this week's episode of Agents of SHIELD, Susan (and her husband is around). It must be a special week for guest spots cause this week's SHIELD episode has showrunner Maurissa Tancharoen making an appearance as Sequoia (and she's hilarious). We also get a better idea of what Sarge and his team are up to (but now we have so many more questions). Oh and Deke is back and he's reminding us that he's both the best and the worst at the same time.

Ro and Brandon review Rocketman, the musical drama based on the early years of Elton John's life. This film is nearly perfect.

A musical fantasy about the fantastical human story of Elton John's breakthrough years.

Brandon and Ro review Ma. Octavia Spencer snapping on some kids. What more could you want? You saw the trailer. You know you want to see it. And guess what? It doesn't disappoint.

A lonely woman befriends a group of teenagers and decides to let them party at her house. Just when the kids think their luck couldn't get any better, things start happening that make them question the intention of their host.

Kriss, Ro and Brandon review the latest bastardization...we mean Americanization...of Godzilla, Godzilla King of the Monsters.  To say Kriss isn't happy with this movie is an understatement. Everyone knows how he felt about the 2014 film, well King of the Monsters makes Kriss want to apologize for being so hard on the first film. It seems like no Western filmmaker ever truly understands what made Godzilla such a cultural phenomenon in Japan. This film is a shell of what it should be, is shot poorly, has bad action scenes and the script is horrendous.

To add insult to injury, they're going to be latching on to the EXCELLENT Kong: Skull Island and muddying that franchise up soon as well. Oh joy.

Okay, so SOMEONE jinxed the Bucks. If you want to put that power on me and my podcast, then I'm not going to stop you. I will warn you against me ever beliving in a team you love, but that's the risk of the podlife. We're back this week with the EIC talking Sage Northcutt breaking his face, AEW breaking the mold, McNabb in the Hall of Fame, and the dumpster fire Lakers. Plus, we check in Kevin Durant. Cause KD hurt his calf (and his feelings!), but not his twitter fingers.

Leave it to Agents of SHIELD to do an episode like Fear and Loathing on the Planet Kitson and make it basically one big episode about everyone being high. Honestly, we need a spin-off of just Daisy & Jemma getting high and kicking ass. This episode reminded us how far these characters have come. It also brings up some interesting questions about breaking time and the multi-verse in the MCU.
