Welcome boils and ghouls to the thirty-seventh episode of Much Review About Nothing: our spooky, spectacular Halloween Special! This time we reviewed The Grudge (2020). Again, we must point out that we haven't seen the movie. That is 100% not a joke. Everything we know about the film comes from the trailer, reviews, articles, and our own biased preconceptions. Listen along as we ponder burning questions like: Are the Grudge ghosts just sticklers for good hygiene? Is there a ghost bureaucracy that handles who grudges who? Was this movie caused by a grudge against Hollywood, or vice versa? How badly did The Jerks disrupt filming when they invaded the set? Was Jake’s “imaginary” friend Donald a lot more real than we first thought? But, most importantly, is this movie complex Japanese propaganda intended to undermine our faith in law enforcement (as suggested by totally sane political theorist, and frequent show guest, Oscar Albert)?
