Finally, there’s a new adaptation of the bestselling John Grisham novel The Rainmaker, previously adapted into a film in 1997, starring Matt Damon. This version shifts proceedings to the modern day and stars Milo Callaghan (Rivals) as idealistic young lawyer Rudy Baylor.    Hayley Campbell and Scott Bryan join Naga Munchetty in the latest episode of Must Watch. This week's shows include Gary Lineker’s new game show The Box (ITV). A group of celebrities are subject to a series of unpredictable challenges as they’re carted around the UK in giant metal boxes, in order to keep their trials a secret until the very last moment. Featuring Joey Essex, John Bercow, Jenny Ryan, and Ellie Taylor as well as a host of other celebs. There’s the Disney+ dark comedy Ms. X, which follows a suburban stay-at-home mum named Mia (played by Melissa George) as she tries to scare her unfaithful husband, but things quickly turn dangerous as the criminal underworld gets involved. Finally there’s New Zealand Spy, a comedy series created by Paul Williams, written by and starring Williams, Rose Matafeo, and Flight of the Concords’ Bret McKenzie.    Number 3: Buried | My Brilliant Career | Race Against the Tide

   Emma Vardy stands in for Naga Munchetty on Must Watch this week. She's joined by Scott Bryan and Hayley Campbell to review the week’s biggest new TV and streaming releases. This week the trio reviewed ‘My Brilliant Career’ the iconic Australian story that began as a 1901 semi-autobiographical novel by Miles Franklin. It follows Sybylla Melvyn (Phillipa Northeast), a headstrong and rebellious young farm girl in rural Australia who dreams of becoming a writer, without wanting to let romance get in the way. Next, it's 'Buried' with Michael Sheen, a new two-part documentary series with the well-known actor. Here he looks at allegations that a chemicals giant decades ago dumped huge amount of industrial chemicals all around Wales, resulting in contamination and concerns from locals that it could be responsible for an increase in cancer rates in the region. Finally, it's 'Race Against The Tide', a competitive sand sculpting competition on BBC Two. Expert professional sand sculptors are partnered with creative newbies and their sand sculptures are judged on technical prowess and detail. As the title suggests, they are racing against the tide.    Number 4: Lanterns | You’re Killing Me | The Terror: Devil in Silver

   Emma Vardy sits in for Naga Munchetty in today’s episode of Must Watch, as she joins Scott and Hayley to review the new superhero show from HBO: Lanterns, starring Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre. This new adaptation of the legendary superhero follows experienced intergalactic peacekeeper Hal Jordan (Chandler) as he trains his new fellow green lantern, Jon Stewart (Pierre) and solves a crime in rural Nebraska, with extraterrestrial implications. Also, on the box this week, there’s a new crime caper starring Brooke Shields called You’re Killing Me, which follows a famous author (Shields) and a Gen Z podcaster (Amalia Williamson) as they unite to investigate a series of murders. There’s also the third series of the horror anthology The Terror, Devil in Silver, which stars Dan Stevens as a man wrongfully imprisoned in a sinister psychiatric hospital and his fight to remain sane.    Kylie Pentelow sits in for Naga Munchetty in today’s episode of Must Watch, as she joins Hayley and Scott for this week’s reviews. Our first review is the highly anticipated end of the Seven Up series, with 70 Up: The Final Chapter. It began in 1964, with the late director Michael Apted filming seven-year-olds talking about their lives and ambitions. He revisited them every seven years, until he passed away in 2021. This final edition catches up with the original cast one last time. Apple TV crime drama Last Seen is next, starring Patrick Brammal (Colin from Accounts) and Maxine Peake. A former police officer, still grieving the loss of his kidnapped daughter over a decade prior, starts seeing signs that she may still be out there. Lastly, there’s the Australian crime comedy Reckless, a four-part Australian adaptation of the Scottish programme Guilt. Two siblings accidentally cause the death of an elderly man on the way back from a wedding. Rather than calling in the accident, they decide to try and cover their tracks instead.
