The My Buddy doll burst onto the scene in 1985 with overalls, a bowl cut and a banging jingle. But by the mid 1990's My Buddy was a distant memory. So what happened? And how did My Buddy become synonymous with the murderous Chucky doll from Child's Play? This week we dig into the history of the first "doll for boys" and then as usual pitch how we'd fix My Buddy for today.
