I've been putting this episode off for a while, but it was finally time to take it off the "maybe someday" list and record my feelings and thoughts.

Just like most other women, my journey to self love and acceptance hasn't been easy. In fact, some days it's been downright grueling and heartbreaking.

But as my years pass, I've been able to embrace my truest self by allowing her to shine through. I hope that by sharing my story, someone will start their journey, too.
