I miss both of my grandmothers and shared the recipe for Eva Walton’s southern cornbread. 1 C corn meal 1 C self rising flour 1/2 C buttermilk, 1 T oil butter and add a little meal to the bottom of the iron skillet, bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
