This week's call-in question comes from a high-performing service advisor named Taylor. She's been working for 2 years at a Hyundai dealership and she consistently gets the highest CSI and sales in the department. Taylor's issue is that the service manager she works under consistently undermines her decisions. Chris has a simple response to this question: Why don't you be the manager, Taylor? It sounds like a joke, but Chris is serious. Taylor is outperforming her manager, and she should apply to take over that job. She clearly has the work ethic to make it happen, and she shouldn't let anyone hold her back.
