This week's call-in question comes from a manager who's trying to figure out how to make Saturday shifts work and getting some push-back from his team. Our recommendation is that if you're going to do Saturdays, you have to commit. Make it a full work day and have a technician who works Tuesday thru Saturday and make that their normal work week. You could also operate the entire shop on 4/10 shifts Monday thru Saturday. That means you have multiple techs on Monday to Thursday, as well as multiple techs on Wednesday thru Saturday.
