MBOT stock, or Microbot Medical stock, is being pumped heavily on Twitter by people spouting arbitrary price targets and BS about how it's the next NVIDIA, Tesla, and AMD all rolled into one. We've seen stories like this countless times, and Microbot throws off all the typical red flags - the portfolio of patents, the company pivoting over time to whatever investors think is hot, the lack of anything meaningful on the balance except a tiny amount of cash that won't bring anything to market, the choice to do medical studies in emerging markets, and the list goes on. If you're invested in $MBOT, or thinking of investing in MBOT stock, there are plenty of ways to get exposure to surgical robotics. You don't need to dabble in this tiny company. If you're a speculator, you'll quickly learn that the only people making money on this company with no future are promoters, not proper investors. If you're an investor, be assured you'll eventually become a bag holder.

ARK's top stocks attract loads of attention from investors who try to mimic the Oracle of disruptive technology - Cathie Wood. This isn't a wise plan. Either invest in ARK's ETFs like the flagship ARK Innovation ETF - ARKK - or find stocks and invest based on your own convictions. Of the top 10 stocks ARK is holding, we've only invested in two. Several we "like," but the rest we're avoiding for any number of reasons. In this video, we review ARK's top stocks based on today's convictions, as the list is likely to change over time as ARK makes active investing decisions and the prices of these volatile disruptive technology stocks fluctuate. Stocks we cover in this video - ARK's favorite based on overall weighting - include Tesla, Unity, Zoom, Roku, DraftKings, Exact Sciences, UiPath, Square, Coinbase, and Shopify.

  • Affirm Stock Analysis - Why We're Avoiding AFRM

Affirm stock offers fintech investors exposure to a unique business model that looks to displace traditional credit cards, but it's ultimately unsecured credit lines being offered to consumers. With interest rates at all-time highs, and consumers hitting record levels of revolving debt, is exposure to unsecured debt really something we want exposure to? When considering an investment in AFRM stock, pay attention to real operating income which is reported as non-GAAP. From that perspective, they're likely to achieve profitability a whole lot sooner based on their 44% gross margins as of last quarter. The demand for securitized loans may be drying up which limits their funding capacity, or they're just trying to keep more debt on a balance sheet. Either way, $AFRM stock is one we're avoiding going forward.

  • Cathie Wood Stocks - Analyzing Her Top Picks

Cathie Wood stocks get a lot of attention because she's the most successful thematic ETF manager ever as measured by asset under management. As CEO and Founder of ARK Invest, Cathie Wood calls the shots, usually with a great deal of conviction and certainty. When looking at the stocks ARK is invested in, we can glean Cathie's top stock picks by looking at factors such as how her overall assets are weighted b) what percentage of companies she owns and c) what she buys and sells in the context of her overall portfolio holdings. Most people post ARK Invest stock trades on Twitter without context making this information largely useless for investors. If you want to ape ARK's trades, you're better off just buying their ETFs and letting Cathie Wood manage your money for a reasonable fee. We look at ARK's highest conviction stocks using a number of approaches and vet their universe of stocks using a number of factors.

  • Stem Stock Review - A Big Margin Problem

Stem stock is a popular energy storage stock that investors may see as currently being undervalued. After all, this firm managed to do what few SPACs have ever done - beat their SPAC deck guidance. While the revenue growth is there, not all revenues are created equal. Non-GAAP gross margins point to variability in their revenues based on the price of lithium in the future. This means actual revenues could be more or less than what's stated, and presumably, an adjustment will be made. With hardware gross margins in the negative last quarter, we don't care for this new variable that's been introduced which only makes it more difficult for $STEM stock investors to monitor what the company is getting up to. STEM stock is one we'll be avoiding going forward due to volatile revenues, tight gross margins, and customer concentration risk.

We revisit gene editing stocks once per year because things move very slowly in this space. While there may be upwards of 27 gene editing stocks out there, our focus is on the three biggest – Beam Therapeutics BEAM, Intellia Therapeutics NTLA, and CRISPR Therapeutics CRSP. Each of these companies is racing to bring treatments to market using their respective gene editing technologies. Of these three gene editing companies, CRISPR seems to be the furthest ahead as they await regulatory approval - in the USA and UK/Europe - for the first gene editing enabled therapy, exa-cel. These updates on gene editing stocks provide investors with the latest news on the biggest players.

  • Best SaaS Stocks - How to Find Them

Finding the best SaaS stocks starts with a list of all SaaS stocks - we came up with 74 SaaS companies to start. Then we started running filters against the list using criteria such as valuation, revenue growth, net retention rate, and size. What we're left with is a list of 19 stocks, nine of which we've already covered. In a future video, we'll take a closer look at these 10 SaaS finalists in our quest to find some of the best SaaS stocks out there. Each investor will have a differing definition of "best" based on their own tolerance for risk, so our methodology isn't important. What is important is that you come up with your own investment methodology that helps you become a better investor by removing emotion and adding some objectivity to the process.

  • Coinbase Stock Today - A Coin Stock Review

Coinbase stock is down 80% since their IPO. Our COIN stock review looks at what problems the underlying business faces that weren't there during the heydays of hype. Relying on retail investor transactions for a majority of revenues means that Coinbase only thrives when there's an interest in cryptocurrencies from retail investors. Institutions participate on the platform but only count for a tiny fraction of total revenues. While transaction revenues plummeted in 2022, Coinbase was engaged with the SEC trying to address regulatory concerns. Then, the SEC just bailed and started down the path of enforcement - a Wells notice - resulting in Coinbase deciding to sue the SEC. When you're suing the government entity that will ultimately decide your fate, it's not a good look. Whether Coinbase is right or wrong doesn't matter because the SEC decides this outcome. We're avoiding $COIN stock until they can reduce reliance on retail investors and the whole SEC spat clears up.

  • Block Stock Analysis - Why We Don't Like SQ Stock

Stay informed with our free disruptive technology investing newsletter, Nanalyze Weekly. Signup now at https://www.nanalyze.com/nanalyze-weekly/. This episode is pulled from a YouTube presentation. View the original presentation at https://youtu.be/wr5J49K9qds.

Block stock.. err... Square stock or SQ stock isn't anything we'd consider investing in for any number of reasons. Firstly, we never agreed with how Block decided to include bitcoins bought or sold to their customer base as "revenues" (the 2% gross margin should be a clue to how inappropriate this is). We don't like how Cash App can be used by anyone with an email address which opens up the door for loads of black market use cases. Block's fearless leader, Jack Dorsey, pitches the use of Cash App in rap songs as a badge of honor when it points to a subscriber base that (at least in that niche, and by a particular segment of users) is up to no good with the app. The ability to change your cashtag to whatever you like (regardless of who you actually are) means it's a gold mine for scammers who can trick others into parting with money. Block's decision to enter buy now pay later or BNPL we don't think is wise because this doesn't require an assessment of credit worthiness. We see it as little upside and loads of downside. Overall we're avoiding $SQ stock at any valuation, and today's valuation is already quite depressed from where we're sitting.

  • NVDA Stock - NVIDIA's Next Move

NVDA stock is hitting new highs making us wonder, what's NVIDIA's next move? One hint might lie in the cash they have on hand - $15 billion - and their shelf registration statement that looks to raise even more cash. What to do with this war chest? NVIDIA might look to acquire some competitive threats or bolt-on growth, especially considering their acquisition of ARM fell through. In looking at their latest earnings call, data center revenues are expected to absolutely explode, and that growth may be sustained for a few more quarters going forward. All that extra cash being generated, along with cash on hand, might provide an opportunity to make another sizable acquisition. The share price will need to sustain its high for 30 days after which it might be used for an M&A event. What companies out there do you think NVIDIA might acquire? If you think an acquisition is out of the question, what should they spend that $15 billion in cash on? Retired some of the $9.7 billion in long-term debt on hand? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
