Never Seen It with Kyle Ayers

Chris Gethard has never seen Ironman 3, but he rewrote it and we read his script. You will never believe WHY Chris has never seen Ironman 3. You need to listen and hear the story.

A sprawling, wonderful episode where Chris dissects his intense Marvel fandom, his insightful reasoning behind why superheroes might be so popular now, and more.

A long, cathartic talk about comedy and scenes and community.

Then we cap it off with a couple of rounds of KyleDadMovieTrailerGame.

The sketch group Public Works joins Kyle, and they have never seen Sully, but the rewrote it and we read their script. The Canadian trio kind of… maybe nails it? Listen to the episode for the full script as well as some of those classic Never Seen It games. Plus everyone has a lot of comedy talk up top. Shoot ahead 30 minutes or so for the script! So much banter. I am getting back into the groove of talking. Check out Public Works on Bandcamp for their new sketch album. Hi folks we are back.

Your (insert adjective here) host Kyle Ayers has never seen MacGyver, but he rewrote it, and we read his script. It is tough to take on a famously satirized show such as MacGyver, so Kyle attempts to steer clear of any MacGruber (which he has seen and loves) territory.

He is joined by Rebecca Steinberg and Mike Carrozza! They tackle some Character Card Head!

Lots of chat up top. It's my first time recording in a long time, post brain surgery! I am recovering but feeling as though the issue I went in for has been resolved. Thank you all for your kind words through all of this.

Jonathan Braylock has never seen 2001, but he rewrote it and we read his script! He's never seen this space movie, despite making Astronomy Club on Netflix. Hmmmm.

Kyle and Jonathan are joined by Daniel Shar, who has actually never even heard of this movie. We take on Jonathan's script, ask Shar if he's ever seen anything, play some games, and have an all-around nice time.

Mike Feeney has never seen Justice League, but he rewrote it and we read his script. Mike barely knows who Superman is. He is pretty sure who some of the Justice League are. Kyle and Mike are joined by Greg Stone, who knows everything about comic books, and does not react well to some of Mike’s script decisions. After the script we talk more movies, comedy, and play some of our beloved Never Seen It games. If you want early and extended episodes, please check out our patreon at kylespatreon.com, a terrible URL redirect that I bought. Thank you for listening!

Mike Drucker has never seen Casino, but he rewrote it and we read his script. Writer of everything ever and amazing comedian Mike Drucker joins Never Seen It once again. He’s never seen Casino, he’d previously never seen Goodfellas, and well he’s actually seen The Irishman. We tackle Mike’s script, take on talking about mob movies, and then play some of the ol’ Never Seen It games we’ve come to love along the way. Kyle and Mike are joined by Todd Sklar!

Wayne Federman has never seen The Wire, but he rewrote it and we read his script. Wayne is pretty sure it has to do with cops. Kyle and Wayne are joined by Dave Ross to take on Wayne's script, talk life and comedy and how the police portrayal on screen has changed over time. We also play some Before&Afters and KyleDadGame. Thank you for listening to the podcast! I appreciate you. Please check out Wayne's new book "The History of Stand-Up" wherever you get books! It is out now!
