In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the new that Nick Backstrom will likely never play hockey again. He never fully made a recovery from his hip resurfacing procedure. GM Brian Maclellan said his return is doubtful. The question is, is how much of role did Spencer Carbery play in Backstrom's decision? Carbs took him off the first power play unit at practice and had him alternate with Connor McMichael at the third line center position. Later Dan talks about the Capitals at practice on Thanksgiving and where they stand in the NHL. To close out the show Dan talks about how the Hershey Bears continue to keep winning games.
