The Boston Red Sox continue rolling and started off the Pittsburgh Pirates series with a win withe help of a masterful performance from Nick Pivetta. The offense helped by scoring four runs in the first inning but the bullpen made it interesting like they always like to. Luckily Matt Barnes looked like the 2021 first-half version and shut the door. Kiké Hernández returned to the lineup while Matt Strahm is on his way back.
