Nicole Moore's parents were told not to become too attached to their children early on because their children were very sickly and had a high likelihood of passing away. Because of that, her parents distanced themselves from saying “I love you” to their children till much later in life. From that childhood experience to a devastating breakup with her college boyfriend, Nicole built up an unhealthy relationship with love and dating.
