Nobody Panic episodes

  • How to Get a Puppy

Stevie and Tessa dream about getting a puppy. Actor, writer, performer and their very good friend Liz Kingsman (Borderline, Parlement, King Gary) just bought Emmett the Cockapoo. She shares what she’s learned, what to prep, how much they wee and the weird thing about chew toys you didn’t know about. Genuinely fascinating stuff and also visit Stevie's Instagram for some top pictures of Emmet being adorable during the recording.

  • How to Cook

Hopeless in the kitchen? Afraid of the oven? Deeply suspicious of the hob? So are Tessa and Stevie but now they’ve slowly, slowly, slowly, managed to teach themselves a few things. Although they are still not experts so expect tips like “buy a big knife” and “get one of those pans you know the flat one”.

  • How to Admit When You're Wrong

Tessa maintains she has never been wrong in her life. Stevie gently attempts to dismantle this while coming up with expert advice on how to go about saying sorry. Because, despite what you (or indeed Tessa) might think, everyone is wrong sometimes and that’s okay.

This episode was recorded pre-corona or 'the great before' as Tessa likes to call it.

  • A Short Message from Stevie and Tessa

This week, watching the protests happen across the world in response to the murder of innocent black man George Floyd by white police officers, we didn’t feel we could add anything to the conversation. Instead we’d love you to listen to voices more important than ours right now, to the podcasts we’re listening to as we try and learn, educate ourselves and do better.

We’ll be back next week x

  • How to Deal with Imposter Syndrome

Stevie and Tessa both have imposter syndrome to varying degrees, and they’ve both done research to try and kick the habit. Or rather, as they discover, ACCEPT the habit and stop said habit from taking over your life and holding you back. You’re meant to be where you are! Own it! Go into that meeting with confidence. Don’t let opportunities freeze you with fear. You can do it!
