Becca King is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is passionate about helping adults who struggle with ADHD and binge eating, chronic dieting, and body image issues to find food freedom and improve their self-esteem. We talk to Becca about how she uses the principles of Intuitive Eating and a weight-inclusive approach to nutrition for ADHD, as well as some major themes she sees connecting ADHD to disordered eating patterns. We discuss how executive function plays a big role in our relationship with food, and how we can use non-diet, neutral nutrition-related behaviors to support our executive function, and why focusing on elimination-based protocols is *not* the answer for ADHD’ers.
