In this week's episode, Kara and Kylie welcome Sarah Bishop, to the podcast! Sarah is an online health and fitness coach with a diverse background in functional health, bodybuilding, and who has her own history with an eating disorder. She is also the co-owner of Fortify Health Coaching.
Sarah joins the podcast to discuss her journey with anorexia and the steps she took to overcome it. Together, the girls dive into what anorexia looked like for her, where it stemmed from, what her recovery process was like, and the professionals she worked with. Sarah discusses the negative biofeedback and symptoms she experienced with her body during this time. She also breaks down the important role that tracking macros, educating herself on what food does for the body, and getting into strength training / building muscle played in her journey.
