Ever had an anxiety attack before? If so, I feel you! I know how frightening and uncomfortable the whole experience can be, and often the way we react when we feel the anxiety come on can often make it worse. In this episode, I share about my anxiety attack from last weekend - yes that's right, even as a life coach, I get anxiety attacks every so often! I wanted to open up about it on this podcast so firstly, you feel less alone in your struggle and realise that anxiety is something we ALL feel. But also to give you tips on some things I did and learned that I found very helpful to keep the anxiety from escalating and really be able to calm myself down so the symptoms passed sooner than later.

This is a mini episode filled with my favourite thoughts I remind myself to find strength, peace and inspiration when I need it most.

They are my 'grounding thoughts' - thoughts that can stop my mind spiralling into a helpless place where I think I need to to 'control' the world and all of it's outcomes in order to feel ok. Instead, these thoughts remind me of my own personal power and ability to choose how I interpret every circumstance I am giving, so that I can calm myself down and intentionally respond from a place of faith and curiosity - which always serves me far more than just reacting to my negative thoughts and letting my fears drive me.

So, I hope this episode does the same for you and is one you turn to whenever you need a boost of inspiration and hope on tough days.
