"And it's like, 'Give me a SECOND. I need to go to the bathroom. What part of that do you not understand?' And it goes into this like, 'Who Am I?' Like, I cannot recognize who this person is speaking and it's like I'm standing outside of my body, staring at this person yelling, being like, 'What are you doing?' But I have zero control over it."

"What if we all told everyone what we were feeling? Especially when it's a good thing - so maybe not everything. But what if every time we thought something kind, we just said it out loud? It sounds simple enough, but yet, we don't."

I'm going to forgive myself, but I've done something wrong.' When you Mom-Shame yourself, you're essentially holding yourself to this absolutely unrealistic expectation of perfection."

“I need a therapist who totally understands that. If I end up with a therapist who is 100% play based therapy, where I think Mr. 7 will have a grand time playing - but he’s not going to open up. You can’t trick him. You can’t trick him with Playdoh and trucks and all of a sudden he’ll tell you…I just think it’s going to have to be an out-of-the-box approach for an out-of-the-box kid.”

Mothers are "on the job" 24/7 - and yet we rarely forgive ourselves for our mistakes. Instead, we hyper-focus on all the things we do WRONG. In this episode, I'm going to share one SIMPLE strategy for finding your "Mom-Strengths".
