  • 6 weeks without Tik Tok
i’ve had Tik Tok since late 2019 probably like everybody else. i’ve enjoyed the trends and the fun of it, but a year ago i got really sick of it due to all the drama and negativity on the app. i would feel drained after scrolling on that app for too long, so a month and a half ago i made the decision to delete the app off my phone as a whole and it’s the best decision for my mental health i’ve made. at first i was a little apprehensive on deleting the app due to FOMO, but i got myself out of that mindset. in this episode i share with you all how i got to this point of hating Tik Tok, everything wrong with it, and how it’s been better for me all around. love you

  • the masculine mold
recently i was scrolling on my instagram explore page and saw a post of a kid getting a cooking set for Christmas. you’ve probably all seen it, but anyway i look at the comments and all i see is people being very mean and hateful. comments like “ that kid is going to grow up to be gay”, or “stop giving boys girl toys for Christmas”. it really upset me because it’s a shame that people are talking about a literal child and being unrealistic. cooking is for everyone. this got me thinking about how everyone wants men and boys to fit into this masculine mold. in this episode i’m going to be talking about that, why it’s very toxic, and how i’ve avoided it, and how forcing boys into a masculine mold can fuck up a relationship and parenting. love you guys always.

  • getting into a routine
recently, i made it a plan for myself to start exercising every morning again. this lasted 1 day and by day 2 i was really busy so i had to skip it. this caused me to get in my head about it and made me think about how toxic routines are. routines can be very toxic because we often times set unrealistic expectations for ourselves and that leads to negative self talk. this episode i share tips on how you can create a routine that is healthy and realistic, and how social media has influenced the way we make routines and the unrealistic standards we strive to follow in order to fulfill said routine.

  • i hit a wall with youtube
i feel like you guys know my story with how i got started on youtube. i’ve been doing it for almost as long as i’ve been doing podcasts, but recently i had hit a wall with youtube. a constant cycle of editing and uploading along with trying to grow my channel caused me to experience burnout and i needed a break. this episode i share with you guys why i took a break, how i recovered from my burnout, and how i got my inspiration back to start making videos again after a month break. being original on the internet is hard since there are so many creators, but this time around i have regained my passion for youtube.
