I was a maid of honor at a wedding last Saturday. I had an out-of-body experience at the reception. The best man was over-served and then made a speech that horrified everyone. He started dishing on everything he and the groom had done together in secret with various women. My friend was horrified. Needless to say, the speech killed the festive mood at the reception and basically ended the night. My friend is horrified and is thinking of getting her marriage annulled. Her family is telling her not to end the marriage because she and her husband weren't officially married and in some cases, weren't dating, when some of his salacious indiscretions took place. She's asking me for my advice and what I would do. Normally, when I give her advice and tell her to do something she does it. What should I say? What would you do if you were me?
