"My husband and I caught our 15 year old daughter smoking. He and I are now discussing how to handle the situation.  He says we should buy cigarettes for her because we can then control the amount of cigarettes she's smoking. He says if we don't, she's going to go behind our backs and smoke anyway. I hate the habit and think we should ground her and forbid her from smoking. We should also start taking away some privileges. This will teach her she is not allowed to smoke until she is 21 and an adult. He thinks we'll do more harm than good that way. What strategy do you think would work best?"
