Our family's favorite holiday is Halloween. We plan to watch horror movies all weekend long. My 5-year-old wants to watch them as well. I told him he is too young. He threw a temper tantrum. My husband says we should allow him to watch one of the scarier horror movies because that will scare him into never wanting to watch one again. I told him that's horrible parenting and will cause other problems such as insomnia and night terrors. My husband says his way of stopping our son from watching horror movies is better than mine, which is just saying no.
