"We caught a teenager in the neighborhood stealing an Amazon package off of our front porch. Our Ring doorbell cam clearly shows he's stealing the package. My wife doesn't want me to call the police and instead wants to let bygones be bygones because she says we need to keep the peace in the neighborhood. We confronted the teen and told him we know he stole from us. He denied stealing the package. My wife says we should just drop it. I want to go to his parents with the police and have him arrested.
