I’ve sent in a problem before and got some really validating feedback from the listeners so I thought I’d send in this problem as well. My husband and I have been together for 17 years and married for 14, I haven’t been happy for many years now. We started the divorce process in 2018 but then stopped it in early 2019 because we thought we could work things out. Soon thereafter he left for work overseas for 3 years and got back in 2022. We have two kids and after the almost divorce in 2018 I vowed I would stay with him until my youngest was 18 so we didn’t put them through that again, but I don’t think I can do it anymore. We are totally different people (always have been if I’m being honest) and we have no chemistry and nothing in common. We got married at 18 (me) and 20 (him) and I am not the same person I was then. So what should I do? Try and stick around for the kids or end it? I’ve put this in so many different contexts and I’m at a loss. Please help!!!
