Wes Plate is back on the latest episode of the HappyCast! We catch up with Wes and his recent epic adventures, including his most recent appearance at the inaugural Oregon 200 put on by GoBeyond. We learn all about this race, including Wes’ experience and his thoughts on it for those interested in it going forward. 

Wes may have gotten a 200 mile PR at this race, but it sounds like he has even more incredible things up ahead. We find out more about Wes’ recent foray into race directing, including putting on his first 100 miler with some friends earlier this year, and his hopes for race directing in the future. And his next race? How about a fatass 200 miler on road around the streets of Washington. We learn more about this one as well. 

Wes is a man that is actively staying busy, so we definitely recommend keeping an eye out on his future endeavors. And don’t forget to check out his beautifully put-together videos that he creates for his racing experiences on his YouTube!
