At one point in the 2024 recruiting cycle, Oregon's recruiting class was in the top 5 nationally, and since has fallen down to #12 in the country. Last year's cycle produced the #9 class in the country, and they are capable of getting in that range--or beyond--for 2024 with plenty of time left until the first signing day in December.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by Locked On recruiting insider Brian Smith. They discuss how Oregon's class can rise back inside the top 10 nationally, and a couple of the players who would help them hit their ceiling on the recruiting trail. 5-star teammates Brandon Baker and Aydin Breland of Mater Dei HS continue to be priority targets for the Ducks.

Oregon is trending towards landing 4-star LB Bradyn Platt from Yelm, WA who brings size and versatility to the table as a recruit. He could complement the other 4-star LBs Oregon has in Kamar Mothudi and Dylan Williams. Plus, Brian sheds insight on what it is like to recruit during a college football season.
