Oregon set a couple of records on Saturday with 81 points on over 700 yards of total offense. The defense, after one shaky second drive, allowed under 250 yards to the Vikings of Portland State. It's not a tell-all for 2023, but it's what Oregon fans were hoping for.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin reacts to Oregon's breezy victory at Autzen Stadium over the weekend. We saw a lot of players on the field we might not have expected, but Duck fans should expect defensive rotations in particular to tighten up moving forward.

Perhaps the biggest individual standout was backup QB Ty Thompson--the highest rated recruit at that position in progrum history. It was against an FCS opponent, but Thompson showed signs of growth compared to his struggles of the past.
