Oregon has a solid handful of games that will be "go either way" or "bounce of ball" games this year, starting in week 2 when they go to Lubbock to play Texas Tech. Their toughest game of the season is arguably a week 9 matchup with the 2-time defending Pac-12 Champion Utes of Utah.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin lays out why he thinks this year's matchup with the Utes is Oregon's hardest game. As Oregon looks to build the best defense possible under Dan Lanning, one position in particular has to be elite.

Last year, Dan Lanning as a first year head coach was very aggressive--perhaps to a fault--going for it on 4th down. If the Ducks' defense is better this season, we might not see that quite as often.
