Capt. Kirk was out of the studio this week doing some OSR in South Dakota for his annual pheasant trip, so Fishing Forecast co-host Capt. Scott Shank joined Capt. Kevin and Jeff for the morning’s festivities. It was another great episode of fishing and hunting talk, some fun stories, and lots of laughs to boot.

Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week from Captain Kevin: I’ve used Cajun Thunder corks for years and absolutely love them. I have been using a new float with a different shape and it seems to out fish the Cajun! Its called a Bay Slayer. It is more concave shaped and makes a great “bloop” sound when worked correctly!
