Since the Jags had a bye week, Jeff took the opportunity to stay gone in GA for deer season. Well, Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk have always believed in the old adage “the more, the merrier”, so they decided to fill the empty chair with the infamous Capt. Leon Dana.
You can only imagine how quickly and how far sideways this thing went.
Here’s your L.V. Hiers gear tip of the week: When Captain Kirk is practicing with the bow, he uses handy-dandy arrow pullers from Strike-Zone Fishing Jacksonville.
Here’s your Ring Power CAT tip of the week: Dr. Dave Edwards says… After a hunt, place your Hot Hands hand warmers in a zip lock bag. Push all the excess air out and you can pull them out the next day. Just shake ’em and they will heat right back up!!
Here’s your KirbyCo Builders Inc. Cooking Tip of the Week: Captain Kirk’s Pan Fried Soft Shell Crab
4 soft shell crabs(cleaned)
Flour
Eggs
Old Bay
Peanut Oil
Salt
Half n Half
Butter
Garlic
Wash the crab and clean the lungs out
Take flour about 1 cup and add 1/4tsp salt, 1/2 tablespoon of Old Bay
Take 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of 1/2&1/2, splash of water and beat till mixed
Take crabs and dredge in flour, dredge in egg mix & back to the flour. Fry until golden brown.
In separate pan sauté 1 tbs of chopped garlic in 3/4 stick of butter. Pour over finished crabs.
Enjoy!
