It's been a while! I intentionally took a few weeks off because I needed some time to work on myself without the pressure of creating weekly content.
In this episode I'll be explaining my reasons and the shift that will occur within 'Over Achieving'.
I'm a whole new vibe
Last year was the birth of this podcast and even though my intention was to give you the best information I could, I continued to filter myself and not show up as I was.
I was trying to be valuable to you, which was indeed the thing that was stopping me from being valuable. I've begun to see the value in myself which means a big shift in what I am inspired to do. I am far from finished, but thought I would keep you guys updated ;)

Changes are happening in 2020 and one of them includes Nicole Gibson, the CEO and Author of the Love Out Loud Movement, interviewing me!
You'll hear about how we met, why I wanted to learn from her and run 100 miles away at the same time. I'm talking hilarious moments and having to go deep within myself to allow vulnerability to surface in order to overcome.
We chat:
If you want to connect with Nicole - and I truly urge you to check out her amazing work - then you can find her on Instagram or YouTube.

As overachievers, we tend to brush over all the things that we've achieved this year and instead of celebrating our successes, we're already planning all the things that we wish to achieve in 2020.
I've decided that this year, I'll be letting go of things rather than the things that I'm trying to acquire. So listen in to hear the 5 things that I'm letting go, and what my word of the year is.
I would love you to join me on the "Cultivating More Presence" challenge that's rolling around in January 2020. I'll be showing you simple strategies on how you can achieve more presence in your life - without meditation. Just head on over to my website or the link in my instagram bio and pop in your email!
I'm sending through tons of love your way for this festive season.

We all know that there's a massive gratitude movement which is happening at the moment.... which is a great thing since there is so much scientific evidence that backs the benefits of gratitude for physical, mental and relationship health.
BUT does forcing gratitude work in the same way?
I'm telling you about my gratitude journey today and explore things like:

Welcome to the first episode of Common Thread Convos where we chat with women who are kicking butt in their field about the "not so shiny" elements of being ambitious and going after thier dreams.
Fears, internal struggles, mistakes and lessons learned - these episodes will be packed with raw conversations that I hope will inspire you through connectedness. None of us are immune to self doubt or failure, yet it's far too easy these days to fall into the trap of comparison and overwhelm when we are convinced of the contrary, being constantly exposed to the ever-refreshing highlight reel of others who are succeeding.
Behind every successful "personal brand", business, author, sportsperson or leader is a REAL HUMAN BEING who shares the same set of emotions as you and me and its my mission to bring you episodes that confirm that you are not alone, we are not in competition and that you are exactly where you need to be.
Today we chat with Steph Taylor who is a marketing expert helping small business owners launch and re-launch their start ups. She also has her own podcast, Socialette with tons of valuable tips for your business.
We cover topic like:

Constant pressure for perfection comes at a cost, yet this striving to perform at high levels in multiple facets of our life is diffuse within our society.
When you're working towards something and setting your needs aside, what are you trying to get out of it?
Will that feeling be sustainable once you've achieved it?
These are some of the things I chat about today with Georgie Collins who is no stranger to anxiety. It was essentially what lead her to become a Naturopath and Anxiety Coach - to find her own holistic solution to combat anxiety and share it with others.
You'll hear about:
You can reach Georgie via her website or following along on Instagram.
Georgie even has a Facebook community of women where you can get free tips and support.

As overachievers, we tend to spend most of our time in survival mode which is not conducive to our health and wellbeing because it causes all sorts of problems not only with our mental state, but also our physical state.
Today I want to share something which will enable you to tune into your body with ease an understanding.
We chat about:
The 3 modes we operate in
How to figure out our state of mind through our bodies reactions
The Vagus nerve as a central theme

I'm taking a leap of faith and confessing some things that speak directly to my subconscious fears.
I’m confessing some of the stuff that I’m scared to let others see, stuff that I do that I’m not proud of in the hopes that I can cultivate this shared human experience - that we all suffer, struggle and find ways of coping with things. We all have parts of ourselves we would rather keep out of view.
