2. St. Thomas is often referred to as the ‘doubting Thomas’ because he needed to see for himself that Christ had risen and was in fact alive. When Christ appeared to the disciples again, he showed Thomas his wounds and extinguished his doubt once and for all. From that point on, Thomas was one of the most devout and effective disciples.
3. Mother Mary encourages us to ASK for what we need. Yogananda taught that we should take his teachings and prove them to ourselves, not take his word for it. If you need more proof, more signs, more evidence, more encouragement, ask for it. And let God show up for you.
