Overflow Podcast

In this episode we tackle a passage that can be controversial. We hope through this conversation, you will see the heart of God to guide wives and husbands into a marriage that is loving, peaceful, and ultimately brings God the most glory.

Our friend and pastor's wife, Shelley Brannan, is on the podcast sharing the ins and outs and behind the scenes of the Ladies Spring Retreat. We're talking about the prodigal son, what God did during the retreat, and then the "overflow" (see what we did there) movement of the Holy Spirit during our Sunday services.

Spoiler alert: we spend the first hour of this episode discussing what God did in our church on Sunday and the testimonies that we have heard so far! After that, Park gives us a power-packed, deeply insightful overview of 1 Peter through the end of chapter two. We loved this conversation and hope you do too!

On this episode, Pastor Vernon is taking us through 1 Peter 2:6-10. We start by looking back at verse 5 and talking in depth about the spiritual sacrifices we make to the Lord as His people who are set apart for His purposes.

In this episode we're talking about sins we can put away that will keep the unity in our relationships and open our heart to receive God's Word. We're talking about the beauty of being built up into a spiritual house for the glory of the Lord!

We finish out the chapter with some mind blowing revelations about being "ransomed" by the blood of Christ. We'll be back in two weeks!

In this episode we talk much about the greatness of salvation and how the Church today can learn from the prophets of old, the early church, and the angels who "long to look" on the salvation of God's children!
